Sung on Chatunot(weddings)-Traditional Spanish-Portuguese
"The influence of the Spanish-Portuguese tradition on the Dutch Ashkenazic service is unquestionable.
An obvious example is this Baruch Haba which can perhaps be regarded as one of the hits of present
day Dutch Jewry.Although the text, "Blessed be he who comes in the name of the Lord", taken from
Psalm 118:26-29 is to be found at the end of the Hallel service, it is more commonly used at weddings
and ceremonial functions as an opening prelude"
.(Raymond Goldstein-accompanist arranger of thepiece).
